  • Session 2: 7.30-9.00pm

Please ensure you arrive 15 mins prior to your audition time to register and warm-up.

Which session should I attend?
We will be running the exact same audition in each session so please choose a time that suits you.

Do we have to register?
Yes you do! There are limited spaces per audition time slot. Please click on the registration link at the bottom of this page to register.

Do we need to bring a resume?
Yes! Please bring to the audition a small headshot that we can keep along with a copy of your resume. Resumes should include two professional or personal referees. (Whilst your training and experience is important we are just as excited to meet you in person and see what you can do.)

Will there be a vocal audition?
This audition is just for dancers. Follow ding productions on Instagram and Facebook to find out about other possible auditions.

What should I wear?
Wear something that makes you feel and look great. No baggy attire. Shoes are your own personal preference (sneakers or jazz shoes). Just keep in mind that the choreography will include technical elements such as kicks, turns and jumps.

Do I have to be a trained dancer?
Yes. Ding only works with the very best dancers. All of our current dance team have trained for many years in various genres.

What will happen at the audition?
When you first arrive please sign in so we know you have arrived and then begin warming up. You will be taught a section of choreography. Everyone will have an opportunity to demonstrate how well they can perform the choreography. There are no cuts throughout the audition. You do not need to prepare your own choreography.

Can others watch?
This is a closed audition so only people auditioning will be allowed inside Ding Warehouse.

When do we find out if we made it?
The nature of Ding’s work is that we hire on a project by project basis. Some people may secure a project contract right away and others might not receive an offer until 2019. We will keep a record of all dancers who audition for future consideration.
